What's her name again?

Cary Okoro received her BFA and MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her photography and mixed-media work have hung in group shows in Chicago, Grand Rapids and Columbus, Ohio, and her documentary about the devastating effects of Alzheimer's disease, "Something Should Be Done About Grandma Ruthie," aired on PBS, won numerous awards and has screened at festivals and museums internationally.

​She is a member of the Director's Guild of America and has directed non-fiction programming for CBS/Paramount Pictures, Discovery Channel, the Hallmark Channel, MTV and PBS. Her work has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Illinois Arts Council and the City of Chicago. She lives with her husband and two children in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
